Nyasha Pamella Timba obtained a Bachelor of Laws LLB (Hons) degree from the University of Zimbabwe in 2009 and is registered as a legal practitioner, conveyancer and notary public. Upon completion of her degree, she trained at a leading law firm in Harare and is a co- founder of Devittie, Rudolph & Timba Legal Practitioners.

She specialises in corporate and commercial law with particular emphasis on issues relating to foreign direct investment in Zimbabwe, compliance with Zimbabwe’s Indigenisation legislation, debt securitisation and high level recoveries, corporate restructuring and insolvency matters. She has advised on several corporate Merger & Acquisition transactions and conducted due diligence exercises at both local and international levels. Her areas of practice include property law and estate planning, family law and a fair share of civil and commercial litigation.

Nyasha Pamella Timba acts for a wide range of clients from listed companies, non-governmental organisations, small to medium enterprises and individuals. She is a 2018 Master of Business Administration graduate with the University of Gloucestershire, UK. This has heightened her understanding of the commercial impact of the law on clients’ businesses and enhanced her approach in adopting strategies that suit her clients’ immediate and long term business needs.

Nyasha Pamella Timba is a member of the Zimbabwe Lawyers for Human Rights and is a registered estate administrator. She recently acquired international accreditation from Conflict Dynamics (South Africa) as a Commercial Mediator. Nyasha is a founding Trustee of Conflict Solutions, a mediation organisation that seeks to promote mediation services in Zimbabwe.

Apart from work, Nyasha is a keen golfer who enjoys a good sporting challenge on the course.
